A charity fundraising evening was held at a town restaurant. The evening was held in memory of Richard Jones, a well-known man who designed the clock on Boots in Bromsgrove High Street and the sundial on the Methodist Church Centre, in Stratford Road. A total of £510 was raised for the Samantha Dickson Charity, which researches brain tumours. The Tamanna, on the Worcester Road, provided a buffet for the charity evening and donated 50 per cent of ticket costs.   more...
