SNEAK PREVIEW: Town have reasons to be cheerful after season of struggle

AFTER a season of struggle, Malvern Town boss Joe Rawle will quite happily settle for a mid-table finish next ear. Rawle, who took over from Paul Molloy in January, sums up their season as "tough and long". But depite a flurry of defeats, including an 11-0 drubbing at Chesham, he says an investment in youth and some new aditions during the summer may bring a turn around in his side's fortunes. He said: "It's been a long, hard, tough season to be honest. "Hopefully we've improved over the last couple of months of the season. "We want to secure a mid-table position next year. "We will try to establish ourselves next year. "We need about four players next year. We need to sign a dominant centre-half, a playmaker in midfield and a 20 goals a year man." Read more of our review of Malvern Town's season in next Friday's Malvern Gazette.  more...
