Longdon

ON Wednesday, April 23 Mr Shaw, Mrs Bennett, Mrs Roberts and Reverend Chris Moss will be taking pupils from Longdon St Mary's Primary School to Worcester Cathedral to once again participate in a religious education project day being run by the Diocesan Board of Education. The children will be joining with other pupils from local schools and the day will consist of arts based workshops during the morning and an act of worship after lunch. The afternoon service will be a service of Holy Communion to which pupils will bring their songs, drama, dance or drumming and art which they have learnt and experienced during the morning. The children will be transported to Worcester by coach, leaving School at 8.30am and returning in time for the end of the school day. Children should wear full school uniform and bring their usual packed lunch to school.  more...
