A revival of competitive sport in schools is currently being undertaken in our schools in Herefordshire and Worcestershire. In light of Gordon Brown's announcement at the recent Sports Colleges Conference, Mr Brown stated that competition is the spice of life and it finds it purest expression in sport'. He also announced a new National Schools Sports Week which is due to roll out on June 30th 2008. More competitions for school sports teams are being rolled out through the network of Competition Managers, Partnership Development Managers and Heads of Departments.   more...
