IT was interesting to read the Malvern Memories report of the death of Dyson Perrins 50 years ago this week, in the same issue as the article about our efforts to restore one of his great gifts to the town. It will be a fitting tribute to Dyson Perrins memory if the people of Malvern now give their wholehearted support to The High Street Malvern project to restore Rosebank Gardens to its former glory. High Street Malvern also need the full support and backing of the Malvern Hills District Council, who own the Gardens, and Malvern Town Council.  more...

Interviewed by police

BROMSGROVE police have interviewed two men over a terrifying motorway ordeal. Two 18-year-olds, both from Bromsgrove, were spoken to in connection with an incident on January 9 in which two silver Ford Fiestas were reported to have boxed in a black Vauxhall Corsa on the M42. The driver and passenger of one of the Fiestas leaned out of the windows and swung golf clubs at the Corsa, causing dents and paintwork damage. The men are continuing to assist with police inquiries.  more...
