Welland

THE first thing to mention this week is the Welland flagpole, which was mentioned in the Malvern Gazette the other week. The Parish Council gave permission for it to be sited on parish land, but were not asked to pay for it, out of Council funds (which are limited). Those who supported the petition (and Mary Purser and others thank you) might like to contribute financially as it will cost something in the region of £900 to buy and install a suitably robust flagpole. Good news, however is hereyou can!! There is a collection box in the Post Office where you can donate whatever you can afford, either anonymously or recorded. I will collect the monies and pass them on to the Parish Council - cheques/postal orders should be made out to:- Little Malvern and Welland Parish Council, and should be crossed.  more...
