RAILWAY enthusiasts will be making tracks for the Methodist Centre in Bromsgrove to hear a talk on their favourite subject. The Bromsgrove Local History Group is continuing its series of winter talks and on January 15 the subject will be Railways of Worcestershire: Past and Present. The talk will be given by John Boynton. The following talk, on February 19, will be Worcestershire Place Names, by Richard Churchley. Both talks will take place at the Methodist Centre in Stratford Road, Bromsgrove, starting at 7.45pm. The Bromsgrove Society is one of the largest civic societies in the Midlands with a membership of more than 600.  more...
