BROMSGROVE firefighters tackled two fires last weekend. On Saturday, at around 11.10pm, there was a car fire in a field near to the Kingfisher Nursery, in Stourbridge Road, Catshill. The vehicle was well alight when crews arrived and one hose reel was used to extinguish the fire. Last Sunday, at around 1.55pm, crews were called to a small rubbish fire. Water back packs were used to extinguish the blaze.  more...
